About
As someone who has found immense joy and fulfillment in working out and being physically active, I am excited to share with you how physical exercise and weightlifting can have a profound impact on your confidence and overall well-being, much like it has had an impact on mine.
I enjoy creating workout programs that are designed to suit my clients' individual needs and goals. I love encouraging people to be physically active, and inspiring the confidence one needs to make decisions that will have a positive impact in their lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process has yet to be established, considering I am just getting started as a personal fitness coach. However, with the people for whom I have worked free of charge--friends, coworkers, family--it typically begins with an over-the-phone consultation in which I assess their goals and motivations for starting their personal fitness journeys.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do not have a formal education, for example a degree or personal fitness certification, I have almost 5 years of lifting and dieting experience under my belt. In those 5 years I have become obsessed with learning the ins and outs of training: why and how people become motivated, how to make up for a lack of motivation with discipline, what kinds of programs best suit various individuals who have different goals. I can say that I have been self-taught, and am actually working towards getting a nutrition and personal fitness certification to bolster my reputation and gain more credibility in the field, because I do recognize their importance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Because I am new to personal training, and recognize how much clients value those with experience over those without it, my prices will be lower on average as I attempt to gain this experience. I want to ensure that my clients get the best deal possible, and that entails ensuring that I will do my best to provide the best quality teaching that I can.
How did you get started teaching?
It started with several of my friends, coworkers, and family members reaching out to me to provide them with fitness advice. This usually happens because they see the transformation that I went through: I was often teased throughout middle and highschool for being chubby, and as such I was insecure. They see the difference in confidence that being physically fit has blessed me with, and I can only attest that this has givene them the motivation to make a transformation of their own, with my help. In attending training sessions, making programs, and assisting them in their fitness journies, I have learned that this skill that I have is something of value that I can use to help not just my friends and family, but everyone who needs it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with my friends and family members, both men and women, who wish to become physically fit through training and the implementation of healthier eating habits.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One day I was sitting at home when my co-worker, who had just seen me the night before at the gym, messaged me and asked me if I could create a program with him and essentially be his mentor. This really boosted my self-confidence and gave me the hope that I could do this for other people as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would recommend looking for teachers who do their best to ensure a quality teacher-client relationship, thereby improving the quality of the training for both of them. Of great importance as well is the competence of the trainer and their overall ability to make sure the client gets closer to achieving their goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask themselves what they want and expect from the teacher, as well as consider their short term and long term goals. For example, my short term goal as a personal trainer is to create a comprehensive fitness guide that people can reference for all sorts of advice, ranging from exercise selection to meal prepping. In my own fitness journey, my goal is to lose 5 pounds while maintaining muscle over the next 8 weeks. My long term goal is to have 5 students who I can provide something of value to.
