About
I worked as a costumer for over 20 years. I also used my sewing and design skills in the automotive industry as well as working in sportswear. I owned a product development & small batch manufacturing company at one point & provided services to fashion designers and sportswear companies in Denver. I have a lot of experience and a passion for helping people get started on understanding the technical side of their creative endeavors!
I am currently building an online sewing course program. If you would like to sign up to be added to the waitlist, please go here: https://aprilenchanting.com

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am offering classes in my studio in Golden, Colorado. Registration is available for all my classes on my website.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional Sewing & Patternmaking Program, EGOS, Denver, CO, 1994
Fashion Design Program, FIDM, Los Angeles, CA, 2001
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching classes in 2009 to supplement my income. I was always surprised how many people wanted to learn how to sew and I'm thrilled that the trend is continuing!
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of my students have been adults, though I have taught some sewing basics for kids. But I really love to teach adults a new skill they never thought they could learn.
