Hello! My name is Pearl Rutherford and I am a voice teacher in Littleton, Colorado. I have been teaching voice and piano since graduating with my voice performance degree in 1988. I teach a range of ages: from age 7, high school, college students, on up to age 70+. I specialize in teaching classical and musical theatre styles, but my students study and perform a variety of genres. I like to bring out not only theory and all the tools uoh will need to be your own guitar player...but the excitement in learning somethjng new. As with my special curriculum of theory and how ive added a couple of very important courses to my line up...although they aren't as traditional they are very important in my eyes one is technique. I am diversed in multiple styles and techniques these styles lend to. Including funk , punk, jazz , rock metal, rhythm and lead .just the techniques including palm muting

With 20 years of experience in songwriting, singing, teaching, producing, and performing music, I bring a wealth of expertise to every student I work with. My journey began with esteemed organizations like the Broadway Dreams Foundation and Opera New York, where I had the privilege of learning under the guidance of the Metropolitan Opera’s Judith Fredricks. Additionally, I am certified by the Berklee College of Music. What sets my approach apart is my unique ability to tap into the power of storytelling, helping students build confidence and unlock their full potential.
