I have been teaching guitar for the last 20 years and percussion and samba music for the last 10 years. I play with several Brazilian bands on the frontrange including Ginga, Sambadendé, Grupo Chegando Lá and the Boulder Samba School. I spend most of my time teachingand performing traditional Brazilian music but also love working with Classical, Blues, Rock, Funk and really anything that creates joy in my students and allows them to connect with music and rhtyhm. I believe that is important to having a LONG and fruitful relationship with music and an instrument(s).
