We range in ages from 16 to 75 with our largest group between 30-55. We work with anyone from professional athletes to people who are just starting and are fighting obesity.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My favorite memory in the last couple months is when a member of our was able to squat for the first time. We've been working on helping her increase mobility since day #1 when she walked in weighing over 300lbs and unable to squat. Today she's getting below 280 and can do a full squat.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at the education and Google reviews for any gym or intructors. Those two will tell you a lot about what you can experience.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Don't overthink it. The hardest part is showing up on day #1. What you will quickly realized is that you are not alone and that we all felt the same before we started!
