Mike is an excellent coach and an overall great guy. He has worked with my daughter several times now over the past few years with excellent results. She is a 2 year member of the Storm All American team with nearly 20 youth tour titles since she started working with Mike. Mike always gives her a list of things to work on during her practice session so she can stay on track. He is also very good with the mental aspects of the game. Mike is one of the few Gold level coaches around and this is a title he truly deserves.

I had a lesson with Mike shortly after surgery and he was so patience and cared about my restrictions and worked around them to set a game plan for me. He also explained the plan in terms that I could understand and that is vey much appreciated. Mike is very knowledgeable with many things...Thank You Mike !!!

Working with Mike Dias has been a wonderful experience and I would recommend him to any bowler at any skill level looking to step up their game. The lesson plans and videos taken during a session are delivered to the students immediately after, and Mike only focuses on one or two main components at a time (instead of providing a significant amount of feedback all at once). He has tremendously helped my mental game which has always been a struggle for me, and that has been invaluable compared with other coaches I have worked with in the past.

    Frequently asked questions

All my lessons are one hour.  In a private lesson, I give the student time to warm up their body with dynamic stretching and rolling some shots to get loose.  I video the student using either Hudl or the Strikeseeker system, we discuss goals for the lesson, review video and begin to work on changes.  Physical changes are usually made during the first half of the lesson and mental game and lane play aspects of bowling are addressed during the second half of the lesson.  A practice plan is prepared and emailed to the student at the conclusion of the lesson.

I am one of only 30 USBC Gold certified coaches in the world.

My standard pricing for lessons in the Denver area is $90 per hour for adults, $60 per hour for juniors and $130 per hour for a group lesson of 2-4 students.  A five-lesson package price is also available.

I started coaching junior bowlers when I was 19 and I've been coaching bowlers ever since!

I have worked with students of all ages and abilities.  I have beginning students and I also have professional bowlers.  Most advanced bowlers looking to move to the next level in the Denver area have been students of mine at one time or another.

Always look for a coach you can connect with.  You goals for lesson outcomes should always be honored by your coach.  I also recommend that students seek certified coaches.
