About
Elevate Studios strives to help young musicians learn and thrive from any level. Led by Mr. Liam Wilt, Colburn Conservatory of Music graduate student and freelance sub with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Elevate Studios seeks to foster the unique creativity, skillset, and musicality in each and every student. Mr. Wilt is knowledgeable in multiple instruments, primarily trombone and euphonium, and is willing to teach virtually or make at-home visits in the Denver area.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
From brand-new beginners to all-state hopefuls and weekend warriors, Elevate Studio takes a personalized approach to learning for all aptitudes. After the first lesson where we establish our starting point, we work to match each student with fullfilling repertoire and personal goals to work towards.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Bachelors in Trombone Performance from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY)
- Current Trombone Masters student at the Colburn School (Los Angeles, CA) with a focus on pedagogy
- 3 years of active subbing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic
- 2-time Euphonium Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival
