United Martial Arts Center is a martial arts studio focused on self defense, confidence, respect, fitness and fun for the entire family! We pride ourselves on our quality training, integrity and family culture! We have been doing this since 1990 and just opened a brand new state of the art facility in Centennial Colorado right across from the South Glenn Mall at Arapahoe and University! Our mission is to enhance the lives of everyone who walks through our doors by instilling confidence, values and knowledge of self defense in every individual! We offer a FREE 2 week trial for everyone interested in martial arts!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our process for new students is first we set up an orientation date where we give you a tour of the studio and introduce you to the basics of taekwondo and give you an introduction to our school! We then give you a FREE 2 week trial period to try out as many classes as you like! You pick the class that worked best for you and then your journey to black belt begins! We have classes 7 days a week and are NO CONTRACTS! We love adding new members to our UMAC family!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are certified black belts who are passionate, friendly and love what they do! Every class is taught by at lease one of these black belts along with junior instructors allowing for more individualized attention. We have over 40 black belts at our school each certified through the World Taekwondo Federation in Korea and trained in the best teaching techniques in our monthly leadership trainings!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We love having families train together at our school so we came up with a pricing sytem that makes it affordable for families to do so! Prices vary, however no matter what program you choose you will never pay for more than 2 members in the family! Average rate is 1st family member: $129, 2nd family member: $99, everyone else FREE!
How did you get started teaching?
We got started in the martial arts business for one main reason. To help others. You can never underestimate the values you gain form martial arts because it will enhance every aspect of your life. It gives you self discipline, confidence, respect, balance and the knowledge and training you need to avoid and protect yourself in dangerous situations.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all people of all ages and backgrounds starting at 4 years old! Martial arts is perfect for anyone, including those with any disabilites or issues they are trying to overcome!
