About
My offerings shared through Lessons are here to support you in feeling nourished and balanced. I bring forward 20 years of experience and training in working with people of all ages seeking areas of growth and healing. Whether we work together for a 1:1 for individualized focus, or through a group movement or meditation class, you are welcome just as you are.
My background and training is a collection of many styles and experiences. These include meditation teachings over years with Lopon Barbara Dubois and Garchen Rinpoche and other teachers through the Garchen Buddhist Institute, completion of a 4.5 year Energy-Body training in Qigong healing by & with Damaris Jarboux, additional Qigong movement & meditation training with Masters Daisy Lee and Francesco Garipoli, and formal training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker including specific mindfulness training and teaching. While our work together isn't therapy, I bring my skills and experience as lenses in supporting you.
I so appreciate the honor in getting to support you in feeling more connected and balanced. I started my path with Qigong studies after having my own personal experience of self-growth uncomparable to any experience over time I've ever had after receiving treatments and bringing movement or meditation practice into my life. I feel grateful for the opportunity to bring these teachings forward and provide the space for you as you navigate your own path through this life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I hear from a prospective student, first I offer a free consultation to see if we are a good fit for what you are looking for. Once starting our journey together, I listen for what you are wanting to learn and how you are hoping to grow. We then work collaboratively: I'll share practices which we'll explore together, you let me know how these resonate for you, and we continue forward in a way that aligns and supports your path forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a 4.5 year Energy-Body training in Qigong healing. This program, along with subsequent other Qigong trainings provided me with a depth of knowledge and practice in supporting individuals through meditation, movement, and 1:1 treatment sessions.
As well, I've been working with a wide range of people for 20 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. While our work together isn't therapy, I bring my skills and experience as lenses in supporting you.
Regarding mindfulness training specifically, I studied with a Buddhist teacher Lopon Barbara DuBois for many years. Later broadening this knowledge to include a clinical lens through training and teaching of DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Mindfulness with individuals and in classes.
