About this pro

I teach a variety of skills to form the most complete system of martial arts I have ever found. As a career Firefighter and former Security officer, I also hold certifications in CPR instruction through the American Heart Association and am a practicing EMT. With this work experience I provide an extremely safe environment to practice the skills I teach. I hold martial arts instructor rankings from Imperial Combat Arts in Denver and I have been practicing martial arts for over 15 years and teaching for over 8 years. If you would like to experience the life changing, empowering and complex arts, Or simply need a CPR certification,  please contact me.

Teaching is my calling and passion. Seeing my students become more aware of their surroundings and becoming safer people as well as better guardians over their domain is a privileged obligation I hold very dear. I feel there is no greater gift to show someone you care for them, then providing the tools they need to protect themselves.

I felt very safe with Mr. Adams. Since he is a firefighter, he knows what to do if I get hurt. He really knows what he is talking about and showed me how to punch harder and faster in just a few minutes. I can’t wait to learning more next week!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Flexible hours and scheduling based on your needs. However for best results a minimum of 3 days per week at a 2-4 hour time period is ideal. Students 18 years and older. No experience necessary. Some classes are lecture based and very light work outs. Some classes would make a Navy Seal puke.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

CPR certification through the American Heart Association. EMT-IV through the National registry and state of Colorado. 15 years of combined martial arts training. 12years under Imperial Combat Arts in Denver. 5 years of service in Fire and EMS. 3 years of service as a Security officer, Merchant Gaurd and Asset Protection Specialist.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$50 a month per student. Referal bonuses and discounts available. Flexible pricing based on declining economy and hightened need for self defense. This is about teaching and learning, not buying mansions and sports cars!

How did you get started teaching?

I became an instructor at Imperial Combat Arts over 7 years ago. I have students all over the US and teach Fire, Police, EMS and hospital staff job spacific self defense from agressive patients.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The more time you put in, the more skills you take away. No self defense class should be less then two weeks at absolute minimum. It takes time to incorporate these skills into ones body and mind.
