About
So, the question is: why should people hire me?
How's about because I'm a former Professor (MSU Denver/DIME) with three Master's degrees in Music (Music Composition, Jazz Studies, Classical Guitar) with almost 30 years of teaching experience, both academically and privately?
Or maybe the fact that I'm an official Ted Talk presenter, having presented last year at TedX Cal State Long Beach (you can find it on YouTube).
Either way, just hop on all the standard social media channels, and you'll find about 100 short-form teaching videos.
In fact, you won't find many reviews on here, but if you hop on Thumbtack, you'll find right about 100, with ca. 95 of those being 5-Star?
I reckon that's good for now! I have different options available in terms of studying with me, so let's talk!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every first lesson is unique! We all learn differently, and this is a chance for me to see where you are musically. If you're a brand-new guitarist (and congratulations!), I'll start you with basics, with an eye on how to get you playing music you want to learn, too. If you've got experience with guitar, we'll discover what's working and what's not, and we'll go from there!
