I have trained with many dance instructors as an amateur dance student and I can without a doubt say that my dancing improved 100% while working with Alex. We worked together for several years and danced several styles including International Ballroom, American Smooth and Rhythm, Social, and numerous showcases. My dancing and performance abilities improved and this resulted in a significant increase in my competitive results and positive feedback from judges and coaches. I have worked with Christie for 2 years now. I have taken her class, I have danced in her dance pieces, I've worked for her school, and she's has great qualities in all of those roles. First of all she's a great human being, she is a very dedicated teacher, very positive, very professional, starts classes on time, gives her best, very creative on how to approach students of different ages, and makes sure the students understand the lesson. I think part of the reason why her students love her so much is because she's very positive, loving to her students, and she communicates with them, she talks to them, she hears their ideas, thoughts, she gives them space to be heard, creative and encourages them in every step of the way. As a choreographer she's very creative, very hardworking, very organized. She's respectful, appreciative and friendly to her dancers. I loved being her dancer.
