Please contact me for pricingHow did you get started teaching?
I began teaching aerobics in 1984 in college and have never looked back. I bring to my clients a wealth of knowledge and experience of working with many different types of people throughout the years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all levels. I am a teacher at heart so I love work with students that have a desire to learn how to connect with their bodies and intuitively trust and understand what they need to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently taught a small group of students. One man arrived to class a few minutes late. After class he admitted that he wasn't planning on staying because he felt he had better things to do like work and couldn't justify taking the time off. He ended up staying for the whole class and shared this with me afterwards. He had gotten so much out of the class that he realized he needed to figure out how to add yoga into his life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask a lot of questions.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What are they looking to hire the teacher for?
2. Know their history - injuries / surgeries / medical conditions and medications
3. What type of learner are they?
4. What would you like to achieve working with a coach/trainer?
