Hello. I am Yulia Kreyn, professional piano teacher holding a Master’s Degree in Music with 40 years of teaching experience across 3 countries – Soviet Union, Israel, and the United States. For more than 20 years, I’ve prepared students for the ABRSM international music exams and NYSSMA exams. My students participate in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center performances yearly. I teach in Brooklyn, NY and Kingston, NY in person, and I’m available for online lessons.

I have been teaching music lessons for 7 years and have had hundreds of students. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2020 with a degree in music performance. I have played in groups, as well as solo in many styles across the state and have taught students spanning all ages. I approach each student differently, based on their needs and goals, however I always aim to instill a thorough knowledge of musical fundamentals within each student.

Our goal is for all students to learn how to read music. All students are welcome. We mold our teaching style to each individual students needs. Our free assessment will determine the students learning style. Our mission statement is Where Love of Music is a Lesson Learned for Life.
