I have enjoyed a successful career as a singer ( primarily opera ) and am now devoting more time to teaching aspiring singers. I have a deep knowledge of proper vocal technique , which when acquired allows the student to sing any type of music they are interested in. I am comfortable with many genres : classical , sacred , musical theatre, jazz and pop I speak and sing in English, French Italian and German i also teach piano for beginners up to a five year level . I combine American/European method books to customize lessons based on student goals. Not every student wants to be a virtuoso and once we explore each student's personal goals for studying piano or voice, I customize a lesson plan to achieve those goals with visible results.
