What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First: assessment of the client's ability. Flexibility, strength endurance ! 

second: goals, this helps in setting up the correct approach to get the best results, very effieciently while learning proper technique and safety!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been certified for 20 years, working with many people of various ages and limitations. From lack of balance to limited flexiblity to shortness of breath and obesity! I work hand in hand with all my clients making the journey towards their goals a joint venture! I am also educated and have been practicing as a Lic. Massage therapist since 1995. I have always  provided above average professional service while keeping my rates as low as possible!

Standard  package of 15 sessions $80/ session  $1200. (Best value) Lesser quantity packages are available Prices are determined for each situation... based on travel time and location that we train!  Prices are always in the favor of the client for what they get! My motto is "never let money be the excuse for why you don't commit to your goals. I will help you"

How did you get started teaching?

I have enjoyed excercise and teaching for many years . I have always lived a healthy lifestyle and have wanted to share my experience with others. At an early age I decided to get more education on Anatomy&Physiology  and have been committed to clients since 1995!

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with athletes primarily golf,  tennis and football! I have taught an authentic bootcamp for 9 years teaching fundamentals of body movement. Including foot work,flexibility,strength, cardio vascular training and agility!

 I work with many adults between 50 -75 and a few older than 90 

 Building muscle is just as common a goal as losing weight! I work with those who commit!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Please make sure that you understand that a profession does not look around at everything/everybody  while training you!  Also, knowing how to count to 12 is NOT proof that the trainer knows how to correctly guide you through safe effective excercises! Ask for years of experience and referances! 

 Although  a person might teach group exercises in a gym DOES NOT qualify them to be a professional personal trainer!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1: Am I really committed to my goals?

2: will I allow myself to learn,not just do the exercises

3: Do I understand that this will cost money in the short term for my health long term?

4: Am I willing to give up a little of what I have now( cake, drinks,candy,large portions,etc) to get what I really want? health, a better shape, more energy/vitality  better self esteem and self image?
