Deiser Reading - Academic Tutor

Hi! I'm Ingrid, a Florida Certified K–5 teacher with Reading and ESOL Endorsements and nearly a decade of experience working with elementary students in Florida schools.

I enjoy helping students discover that learning doesn't have to feel frustrating. Every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know each student and create lessons that build on their strengths while targeting the skills they need most.

I tutor students in grades K–5 in reading, writing, literacy, homework support, and English language development. Whether your child is learning to read, needs extra support with comprehension, wants to become a more confident writer, or is developing English skills, my goal is to help them make steady progress while feeling successful along the way.

Parents often tell me they appreciate that I'm patient, encouraging, and able to explain things in a way that makes sense to their child. I believe learning should be structured, engaging, and positive. When students feel comfortable taking risks and asking questions, that's when real growth happens.

I look forward to partnering with families to help students build confidence, strengthen skills, and become more independent learners.
