Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We assess each student and their current fitness level.  After reviewing the client's health history we discuss any potential contraindications and precautions.  During class various levels are demonstrated based on the demographics of the group so that each individual gets the BEST workout for their current fitness level.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our entire team is internationally certified, degreed and retains specialty certifications in various areas of expertise such as Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Water Aerobics and MORE!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

After our initial phone assessment with a client we provide appropriate pricing based on their needs.

How did you get started teaching?

We're celebrating 20 years of business!  That's a rarity especially in South Florida.  Our story is inspiring and unique.  I encourage you to read it here:  http://yourbestfit.com/about/

What types of students have you worked with?

From children to adults over 100 and everyone in between!  We've worked with "healthy" individuals with no limitations or injuries to those fighting cancer, neurologic conditions, surgeries, Parkinson's, and chronic physical pain.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The Coastal Star featured us in their January issue.  The story was so complete and well written.  It describes the embodiment of who we are and what we do.  I couldn't be more proud!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I implore you to please ask the instructor if they have experience with your specific areas of concern.  Ask targeted questions and if you're not convinced, MOVE ON!

In 20 years of business we've NEVER had an injury or insurance claim of ANY kind.  It is our mission to help people!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Same as explained above.
