About this pro

My service is a Holistic approach no matter who I am working with. Whether it's rehabiliation, movement abilities or Holisitic Health Coaching, my approach always takes into account the mental, emotional and physiological challenges one is facing. Stress is cumulative within the physical body-mind and if this is not taken into account one cannot heal to re-attain the child like vitality and anti-fragility that we all so deeply desire.

Energy, awareness, honesty, discipline and time are what allows one to overcome any challenge and my work requires all of these things both in my own practice of living and in my relationships with clients. Due to this my work doesn't stop. My life is my work and I love that.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Determine where they are out of balance with their 4 INTERNAL Doctors.

Dr. Happiness - Does my client know what makes them happy. If yes, why are they not pursuing that? If no, then we work together to discover what that is for them.

Dr. Diet - Does my client know how to pay attention to the signals coming from the genius that is their physical body. If yes, are they paying attention to it. If no, why?

Dr. Quiet - Is my client getting to bed on time, getting deep restful sleep and giving themselves time to relax at set points during the day? If no, why not?

Dr. Movement - Does my client know what movements they'd like to experience with their physical body? If yes, are they training for it? If no, why not?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

*C.H.E.K Institute

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I no longer have standard pricing. I adjust the pricing based upon the complexity of the challenges that the client has. Each session ranges from $25 to $50 a session. Whatever quote I give an individual is the price it will be for each session from that point forward.

How did you get started teaching?

Training individuals for improved performance in the game of basketball was my start as a teacher and still a part of my life today. From there I started doing guest appearances as a Yoga instructor. I then went on to sharing the importance of the foundation principles of health with friends and family. This has now led me to sharing with almost everyone I come across and has led to me having clients who I teach the basic principles that one must have awareness of in order to heal from any ailment, disorder or disease.

What types of students have you worked with?

Mostly young athletes, stay at home moms and daredevil types.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Showing a team that I coach the different kinds of jumps needed in the game of basketball. It was great to see all the girls working together and encouraging each other so that they could improve. It was even more exciting to see that they were truly grasping how they would need to use their bodies and jump from different positions in the game. I felt like a teacher being listened to rather than just a teacher standing there with the info going in one ear and out the other.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ask yourself two questions.

1. What benefits do I gain from my disorder, disease, physical injury etc. ? Really look within and answer this question. It could be a closer parking spot at work, the kids expecting less of you, your spouse expecting less of you etc.

2. Am I ready to give the benefits I receive from my disorder, chronic ailment or disease?

If the answer to number two is no... Then you should not hire me or anyone else for that matter. Even if Hippocrates came back from the dead he would be unable to help an individual heal who is not ready to heal. Once you're ready to heal a skilled teacher simply speeds up the process of the healing by shining light on the areas of your life that you must hone in on managing better.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do I want to create in my life? And am I ready and willing to go through ALL of the experiences, both easy and hard that are bound to come with the creation process. If you're looking to build a house with your bare hands, but are afraid of a few cuts, getting calluses on your hands, sore muscles and the likes then you're not ready for the process yet.
