Mobile master personal trainer Brandon Mercado travels to his clients. May workout outdoors, in home, or private community gym. Brandon’s goal as a professional is to help all his clients achieve their own personal goals. Brandon loves personal training and helping clients. Brandon has 12 years experience personal training and in business for 9 years. Brandon is WFA (world fitness association) certified master personal trainer. Brandon is also a brown belt in the martial art Brazilian jiu jitsu. He trains, teaches, and competes in jiu jitsu. Brandon has completed three 100 mile races and one of them in under 24 hours. Brandon has gone on foot from West Palm Beach Florida to Lake Oregon, Michigan over 1400 miles to raise money and awareness for cancer patients in 2015. Brandon has also gone on foot from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Bar Harbor Maine over 1900 miles to raise money and awareness for ALS in 2023. Brandon studies and has extensive knowledge in nutrition.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each session I will provide the proper equipment or have the equipment accessible. Training can be done at a location of your choice. Whether you choose to workout at your home, office, community gym, a park or the beach, I can make it happen! I do focus on proper form, alignment and breathing in order to optimize every session and make sure you get the best workout. Each training session will be different based on each individuals’ personal goals. Sessions are either 40 minutes or 60 minutes and the number of days per week will depend on each individuals’ goals. The more sessions per week determine the effectiveness of the results. Please make sure you are well nourished 1-2 hours prior to your scheduled session. Health is wealth. Ask yourself how much time your health is worth. The more time we spend improving your health; The more we increase your wealth.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2012 I trained at World Fitness Association which is a National certification & training center. This was a physical hands on and also written 120 hour cerification progam. Every year thereafter I do go for my continuing education re-certification.

How did you get started teaching?
Physical fitness and sports have been a way of life for me since I am a young child. This is a passion of mine and I never thought about doing anything else.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The most important thing is your comforability with the person you are working with.
Have realistic goals and realize that success comes with longevity. Nothing can happen overnight it is a process both mentally and phycially.
Training is important but nutrition is just as important.
