About
Hi my name is Patricia and I am an actress, acting coach, and drama therapist. I have a passion for teaching, inspiring, and helping my clients believe in themselves. Faith it Acting is all about re-instilling faith in your dreams to pursue the arts.
Acting is such a beautiful profession that has opened many doors for me; from acting in theater to teaching it, I now also work as a therapist who uses acting techniques in schools and in private practice.
Whether you want to be better at public speaking, or you are rehearsing for an audition, I can help you feel more prepared. Making it in the acting world is more than just talent, its a strategic plan, and that is what I am here for.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first discuss their goals and vision for their future and acting career. I like to get specific as possible with finding out their why, why do they want to do this and where do they want to go with their acting career? Then we focus on personal development and learning more about the importance of a positive mindset, routines, gratitude and more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Theatre from Florida International University. I have acted in many plays in Miami, FL as well as music video shoots, short films and commercial print work.
I recently graduated with my Master's at NYU to continue my education in Theatre as a Drama Therapist.
I work as a professional actress with the office to Advance Women, Equity, and Diversity at Florida International University. I also work in private practice and in high schools as a drama therapist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually discuss with the students first to see which program works best for them. I offer private online coaching or group lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to be of service to my acting community. Throughout the pandemic I decided to coach actors online to help them keep the faith in their acting career and to find creative ways to stay involved. My passion is to help others, which is why I also became a drama therapist. The arts can be so healing, and using elements of theater in therapy can also be transformative.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many different age groups and from new to experienced actors. I once had a client who was only 6 years old and the coaching was done with her and her mom. Ages 6 and up are accepted.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have noticed how amazing coaching actors is and how transformative it can be not just for my clients but for myself as the coach as well.
Making new discoveries and finding new perspectives to how we live life is always so exciting for me. I coach this young girl who told me she had trouble concentrating in school. She is very creative and loves to act, paint, write stories but when it comes to concentrating in class, she just can't.
I told her to stop seeing her distractions as a negative thing because it will only limit creativity. We found new ways for her to express her creativity so it didn't take away from her getting her class work done. It has helped her so much and I have seen such a difference. It's amazing what a great effect coaching can have on someone's life altogether.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your acting teacher is currently working in the industry. You do not want to learn old skills and old information about the industry. This industry is everchaning, so learning from someone who understands it is best!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do I want a private coaching experience or do I need group acting lessons?
What am I preparing for? The basics? Or I just need extra push in the skills I already have?
