Mr. Johnson has been teaching privately for 20 years in Texas. He currently maintains a large tuba and Euphonium studio at The Woodlands HS north of Houston. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded. I have spent most of my life doing music. I started piano lessons when I was about five years old and began playing trumpet, piano, and ukulele in High School. I earned scholarships, and the "Semper Fidelis" Award for Musical Excellence before enlisting in the Air Force. I’ve always loved music and I’ve enjoyed teaching, so I figured why not combine the two.
