I have a great deal of experience playing and teaching the Horn. I am a former principal Horn of The Miam Symphony, and have played with many orchestras throughout Florida. I have extensive experience teaching Horn. While in South Florida, I have taught Horn at The Gulliver Academy since 2006. I was also the Horn Professor at the Panama Conservatory of music in Central America. I hold a Masters degree in Performance from Carnegie-Melon University in Pittsburgh, and a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Music has gotten me through some very hard and difficult days as a teenager and as a young adult. I am also an educator, and I have seen firsthand how music enhances academic success. I take joy in seeing young minds achieve their goals — both in the classroom and on their instrument of choice.
