Having received an Austin Music Award for best bass player in 2009, I consider myself to be not only an accomplished musician but also established within the Austin community. Music is an integral part of my life. In my opinion, it is also a fundamental part of all our lives. Hi there! My name is Mike and I've been playing the trumpet for 10+ years. Ive studied with outstanding music teachers such as the great John Baker, out of Hillsborough Community College. As well as the great jazz drummer & Instructor, Dave Rudolph. In my early years of trumpet playing, I've had many great opportunities playing in various settings of music, such as, Big Band Jazz, Musical Pit Orchestras, and Live Stage Bands. With my knowledge acquired over the years, I aim to provide a top notch educational experience for those that are interested in taking the next step in their journey playing the Trumpet!
