iPaddle Miami is South Florida's premier paddle experience provider. We operate from sunrise to sunset and have moonlight tours every evening!
My colleagues and I offer a white glove service: your boats and boards await you with lifejackets, paddles and a waterproof bag when you arrive. We accommodate people with special needs and disabilities as well as children of all ages and even dogs.
I love the water and Miami's unique mix of natural and urban scenes. It is a pleasure to introduce people to the Biscayne Bay and all that it has to offer. In particular, I like to lead people out on the water for our Nighttime Tour. Paddling under the moonlight is an empowering and relaxing alternative experience and its great to know that each tour creates positive memories for our clients for years to come.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When a new paddler arrives we show them the northern stretch of the bay and the island group near iPaddle - which are visible from land.
After we put on lifevests and secure their phones and other electronics in a waterproof bag, everyone regardless of past experience goes through a brief paddle instruction and safety briefing. This ensures everyone is on the same page and that even the most inexperienced paddler can enjoy their time on the water.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always been a waterman:
In college, I rowed 8-man outriggers competively for the University of Southern California and La Universidad de Alicante.
Later in adulthood, I trained as a Marine Safety and Environmental Protection specialist and served with active-duty units as a foreign language translator with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
For over a year, I have been leading groups and individuals of all skill levels and ages for day and night tours by paddleboard or kayak around Biscayne Bay.
In addition to this, I train over 10 hours a week as a competitive paddler and will participate as a paddleboarder in the upcoming 75-mile Crossing for a Cure Challenge.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes we do have standard pricing. All pricing includes safety equipment (US Coast Guard Approved lifevests and lights if we are doing a Nighttime Tour), a waterproof bag for electronics and valuables plus boat or board rental and paddles.
Our Day Time Tour lasts up to 2hrs and is $69pp
Our Night Time Tour lasts up to 1.5hrs and is $49pp
Our Specialty Area Tour last 2hrs, includes all equipment a customized experience around your particular area of interest (eg: a fishing trip in the bay, a bar-b-que on a bay island*, an ocean water coastal paddle, wildlife photography experience, etc). It includes refreshments and is $139pp
* clients are responsible for purchase and preparation of food and beverages on the island. iPaddle guide(s) will lead the group to and from the island, transport all items by paddlecraft and secure an area for you and your guests for the bar-b-que.
What types of students have you worked with?
We frequently take the following people on tours:
* groups of up to 30 students under age 18
* couples for a romantic lunch or meal at sunset or night on the island
* first time paddleboarders
* families including grandparents, parents, children and dogs
* individuals or groups visiting Miami as tourists

Look for experience, a focus on safety and positive online reviews on Google, Yelp and Trip Advisor
