I carefully customize my teaching style for each student, assuring the pacing and material are right for everyone. My goal is to help my students to see the value in, and ultimately be able to speak and express themselves through the language of music, no matter the context. Learn the songs and style that you want to learn! Some teachers stick to boring music theory which may be irrelevant to the students goals. If the student wants to learn music theory, then we can go over learning how to read notes, scales, tempo and basic understanding of music theory. If your goal is to play covers than we will go over tabluture and techniques so you can achieve your goal fast. My approach is in a positive and motivating way rather than discouraging students with complex lessons.
