My name is Lexy and my passion is helping others achieve their goals. I have been dancing for 10 years and have 3 years of experience teaching dance/ flexibility lessons. I can teach student of all ages and levels of flexibility. Whether you are advanced and want to learn more moves or a beginner who just wants to loosen their body and relieve some body aches. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin with a consultation whether online or in person to see where my students level is at and also what their goals are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 3 years of experience teaching students flexibility as well as beginner gymnastics. I have had over 10 years of personal training in different dance styles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based on how long the student would like the class to be. For example a 30 min class will be $25, a 45 min class will be $40 and so one.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching because of my passion in helping others and seeing others succeed in their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students varying from levels and ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of when one of my students we were working on her aerials as she was in a dance team and after weeks of working on it she finally did it on her own. Just seeing that excitment and smile is why I love what I do.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be ask many questions about the process and what your goals are and also what your budget is I will work with you and make each students experience individualized.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should ask the teacher whether they have taught a student with these types of goals, and whether they are able to help them in a safe manner.
