About this pro

Hello Parent(s),

My name is Coach Kelly and I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Kelly’s FUNdaMENTALS. I have developed a program that will help develop basketball skills.

I am a former professional basketball player. I played basketball in several countries for a span of 10 years. Prior to playing professional basketball, I was part of a National Championship team in college.  I know what it takes to succeed on various levels of the game. I have also coached high school basketball for 6 years.

My coaching program will emphasize fun, skill development and growth. I strive to continue the players’ ability to work cooperatively on and off the court. The basic skills of basketball are often overlooked, so I strive to develop and teach my players the FUN ‘da” Mentals. The lessons learned in my program will make players better.

Please email me to discuss how Kelly’s FUNdaMENTALS can assist in making your child more successful on the court at [email protected] or by phone at (407) 640-5287.

I am a Physical Education teacher and I enjoy teaching as well sharing my experiences to help youths in the game of basketball and life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My process for working with a new student would begin by asking what does it take to be a good teamate and why.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended Oklahoma City University on a basketball scholarship and after graduation played professionally overseas. I coached high school basketball for 6 years after college. I served as a Physical Education teacher in Orlando and possess a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My standard pricing for my lessons begin at $50 for an hour session. My group rate is $30 with a limit of 6 players.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching after noticing how the coaching of fundamentals appeared to be missing in today's game.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with high school students and I have taught on the elementary level.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would advise a student looking to hire a teacher to look for some one that is not only willing to teach skills  but also  show how to play.
