Shorinjiryu,karate, Ancestral Crane Kung fu,Feeding Crane Kungfu,Taichi Chaun,Yichaun Kung fu and Tai Chi and White crane Chigung hard and soft. Internal and external martial power that can help and improve any fighter or athlete. I have studied and researched many other martial and health systems as well. I have 25 years of teaching children and adults of all ages fitness levels experience and limitations. Over these many years I have found that everybody's needs and expectations are different. I will design a program specifically for you.
What I enjoy most is being able to work with and help others. To watch them improve physically mentally and spiritually. To watch them become confident and able to defend themselves and their families if the need ever arises. To be able to pass down these ancient methods of health, healing and martial arts so they will be preserved for generations to come. Just as they have been passed down to me!

First session consists of an evaluation of my clients needs level of fitness any limitations they might have their short and long-term goals and their expectations of me as their instructor and of themselves. Along with some training and exercises that I feel will meet their immediate need for health and martial training . First session is usually 2 hours long for this reason. It will be considered a double session and the cost of this first lesson will reflect this . Twice as much as a single lesson. This is for this first lesson/evaluation only. All other lessons unless otherwise specified by the client will be 1 hour long and the cost of a single lesson.

30 years in Martial Arts and Fitness. Karate, KungFu,Taichi Chaun and Chigung.Personal Training. I achieved a 6 dan in Karate-do. Studied and practicec intensively White Crane Kung-fu, both Ancestral Crane and Feeding Crane.White Crane Chigun both hard and soft. White Crane Fajing(martial power) both hard and soft. All 3 levels of Feeding Crane (Gung-Li) martial power training.Feeding crane push hands martial applications and sparring. Tai Chi Chigung,push hands,Taichi Symbol,Taichi ball chigung and Taichi applications and Qinna. Shaolin Qinna(locking seizing throwing)mostly from White Crane martial fight forms both single and two man and now my favorite and in my opinion the most evolved effective well-rounded both in health and martial application the internal style of Yichuan kung fu. The main focus the essence and the foundation is standing meditation both parallel and fighting stance. This alone has the ability to make a weak person strong and a strong person stronger. It enhances one ability take great impact blows without injury.( iron body Golden Bell) it also consists of footwork, testing Force, admitting Force(fali/fajing) Push Hands mitt training and heavy bag training sparring & even long pole training. There are no negative side effects from this training or this form of Qigong. As a health practice and martial art is second to none . It is easily practiced by both young and old both weak and strong just health or both. I have participated in dozens of full contact karate do( bogu jitsu) tournaments.I also have extensive knowlege and training in the use of ancient weapons like the staff,sword,sai,tonfa,stick and knives.
The cost of a private lesson is $50 plus $0.50 a mile to travel to and fro over 10 miles. The cost may be split up to five people in a group. Example : 2 people $25 a piece plus $0.25 a mile each. The first lesson will be a double lesson consisting of an evaluation of one's Fitness expectations and they're short and long-term goals. This is extremely I have found it to be the best methode for me to get to know my client. So I can properly design a program that Meats clients needs and expectations. Based upon their health Fitness level schedule any and all limitations they might have and their expectations of me. The price of the first lesson will reflect this. Payment is to be received before the lesson begins.
I was groomed to be a teacher from early on in my martial arts career . I was 18 years old working out at a gym where my teacher, karate teacher was teaching. I started training with him. After about 6 months or so you started having me warm up classes in calisthenics and taking them through basic drills. After a few years I became his assistant I stayed by his side and under his tutelage for 15 years till I married moved away and started up my own School.
I have trained student of all ages sizes Fitness levels and limitations. From children as young as three young adults and seniors. Students with ADHD and autism those with physical emotional and mental limitations. From beginners to Advanced to instructor level. From those with no athletic ability to those extremely athletic. Those with injuries arthritis and sickness. It doesn't matter I will design a program specifically for you. Group lessons are obviously much harder to meet the needs of every single client and every class. But even in a group setting I evaluate each individual student and their progress and what works and doesn't work for them what is good and what may not be so good for them.
How many years have they consistently been training are they still train themselves regularly. Are they still fit. Do they still research and study the subject they are teaching. Do they still have a beginner's mind. Do they still have teachers or mentors in the subject. How in-depth is their study & practice on the subject. At what level are they able to teach you in the subject. Do they do more talking than training or teaching. Do they understand the different ways that people learn and are they able to present it in such a manner. Are they patient do they really care about you getting it learning it and retaining it.
What is your reasoning for these lessons . Do you have any physically mentally or emotional issues or limitations that the teacher would need to know to bring you to your fullest potential. Are you looking just to improve your health, become very physically fit, to learn an ancient art to become a fighter for self-defense or for sport. What is your short-term goal and long-term goal.
