What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We suggest that new students begin with an Introductory Course. Currently students may select a 4 week, 8 week or 12 week beginner Introductory Course that includes a Martial Arts Uniform and classes. Classes are available 7  days a week, and attendance is unlimited. In class they will be trained to perform all of the material in the begginer section of the curriculum, including blocking and strikes with the hands and feet, knees and elbows etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I began training in 1962. I began teaching in 1975. I began teaching in Plantation Florida in 1980. I have graduated over 100 students to the Black Belt ranks. Since 1988 I have been the World Commissioner for the International Sport Kickboxing Association. For more see and

How did you get started teaching?

When I was studying Developmental Psychology at the Universuity of Sussex in England I founded the Martial Arts Club and coached the University competition team.

What types of students have you worked with?

Children form 3-5 years old, Juniors from 6-13 years old, and Adult students. Military personnel and government agents, police officers and professional crisis management specialists have all come to me for training. I have trained ADD and ADHD children and helped many insecure individuals gain confidence and build their self esteem. 

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We ran a free self defense Expo on June 3rd this year.
