I coached middle school and high school baseball for 20 years. This includes 14 as a varsity coach, 3 years as a middle school coach and 3 years as a JV coach.
I've been retired for over 20 years but have rekindled the passion for coaching and teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

NY State teacher/coach for 33 years (Newfield and Mt.Sinai HS). Coached high school baseball for 20 years.

How did you get started teaching?
Earned my BA in secondary education from Parsons College in 1966. Earned my MALS from Stonybrook University in 1972.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Watching Tom Brady perform at such a high level at age 43 when most athletes are long retired inspired me to come out of retirement.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Young players should value and appreciate the need to start your baseball career by learning the fundamentals of the game.
