I have been teaching Art, Theatre, and Animation for many years to students. My age range for teaching is 7 to 18. My main focus is working with youth.
I teach online, make animated films with my students. Drawing is a huge part of aniation class. Digital art is huge and a great career. Get kids started early.
As a professional artist I like to share my process with others so they can also keep this creative process going in the future.
I enjoy helping and bringing people to another level of skills and creativity.
My students have gone on to professional careers in the arts!
I have produced over 500 community projects with kids and families.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach students online and in person. I work teaching animation to students ages 7 to 18. I have a few home school students currently that take class and students that attend school. If you visit my website you can go to the online classes page for information. I am working on an animated film with kids right now and my students can also take part in it. It is a film to get the word out to save Bees. My website also has a student share page so you can see what kids are making for homework. thank you

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as a Counselor at the Albany NY YMCA in their summer Camp program as a College student. Then I atteneed the College of St Rose for my B.S. in Art Ed and I have been teaching art since that time. I also in 2016 got my MFA in Film and majored in animation.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with kids mostly for my entire career as a public and private school art teacher and as an arts administator. I have taught adults but I focus on school age children in the arts.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my students sent me an extra credit aniation for fun. This shows that they are learning and working ahead of homework because they enjoy drawing and animating.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask us to send you our Resume. I have an extensive one and I currently teach for State Univeristy of NY kids programs so I am background checked to work with students.
Make sure teachers have lots of background working with kids in the arts. Years of experience is the best!
