Yellow Bird Studio, founded in 2017, is the first and only Reggio Emilia inspired creative arts studio for children in Tampa, Florida. This creative hub offers a range of activities including Mommy-and-Me classes, drop-off classes for preschoolers, open art hours, after school "crafternoons", birthday parties, and special events. Yellow Bird Studio encourages children to develop their curiosity and imagination, fostering self-expression through painting, sculpting, building, and weaving. With over 20 years of experience, the owners are committed to making their programs accessible to the entire Tampa Bay community.

I am a freelance artist who teaches visual arts and has a masters in education. Currently, I teach at the middle school level which makes it easy to translate my lessons for anyone at any skill level. I am a natural teacher so so the opportunities I get to share my Passion are invaluable to me. I believe that the things that I've learned in studying illustration scaffolds into a solid foundation for anyone to successfully design and execute their ideas. My goal is to empower self voice and facilitate skill development that will grow individuals into independent artists.
