Teaching and learning should be both educational and rewarding for the teacher and student. The main ingredients are passion and motivation which is what I encourage with any level student. Having played for nearly 30 years, I really enjoy sharing what I've learned with others! I'm particularly good at helping beginners get started and build momentum with developing your chops. Sometimes I'm pretty blown away by how quick some of my students start picking it up when they've had time to learn some of the fundamentals of playing guitar. I've never taught anyone to sing and play simultaneously but would love the opportunity to teach it and see what kind of results a student gets. I taught one student as a beginner and then years later we crossed paths again.. she had stuck with it! Not only that, she had traveled international...
