South Tampa native Matt Jeffries' passion for music has led him to open a more contemporary and innovative music studio to encourage musicians, youth bands, and ensembles, to take their "chops" to a new level. This is achieved through private and group instruction, personalized musical arrangements, performance technique, songwriting, and recording. Matt graduated from Plant High School in 2008 and headed to Tallahassee, where he recieved dual degrees in finance and political science. Having played for nearly 30 years, I really enjoy sharing what I've learned with others! I'm particularly good at helping beginners get started and build momentum with developing your chops. Sometimes I'm pretty blown away by how quick some of my students start picking it up once they've had time to learn some of the fundamentals of playing guitar. My students who are motivated do extremely well and are regularly successful in competitions, performances, and have been awarded college scholarships and been accepted into graduate programs.
