How did you get started teaching?
F.A.S.T Camp asked me to join their coaching staff voluntarily after learning that I would no longer pursue a professional football career in 2008. I taught speed & technique to the campers and was the resident QB Specialist in staff. Upon learning, this a few of the camper's parents began to request private sessions.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students ages 6 & up with little-to-no experience to a HBCU collegiate National Champion Quarterback who was preparing to play professionally over seas.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
During the 2021 College Football season I watched 3 of my trainees line up as the starting quarterbacks for Division 1 programs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First, know what you want out of the experience. Second, prepare a list of questions for your potential trainer, ask them, and assess every given answer. Third, understand that the price of the training should directly match the value that you'll receive in return.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Am I willing to commit to at least a year (150 hrs or more) of dedicated & focused time to mastering my craft?
2. How far am I willing to travel for training?
