Spin It Athletics
About
I started Spin It Athletics after my first offseason playing professionally in Montreal of the CFL back in 2013. We do real game like scenarios and we train HARD. This isn’t for the faint of heart! We have a great time but we understand the WHY of training and the transition of training to real live action. I started as a sophomore at Jefferson high school and had over 30 D1 offers. I graduated early and enrolled at the university of South Carolina where I started as a red shirt freshman and went on to start 35 games in the SEC. I made several mistakes off the field which I use to help teach kids the importance of off the field activities and to be mindful. I had many ups and downs throughout college and pro ball but it has made me who I am today and the kids I have trained since inception of spin it Athletics have gone on to major colleges such as TCU, Holy Cross, Harvard, South Carolina, University of Florida, Maine, Mount Union and several other schools over the years with many others getting recruited currently. I have trained guys from 6 years old to professional QBs and everything in between. We know one speed and one speed only and that’s full speed!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I played the game at the highest level and know what is required
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The eval is 100 dollars and then we typically move to a monthly plan. The pricing differs based on grade of athlete. I am flexible

What types of students have you worked with?
Anywhere from 6 years old to current pros
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love running camps. I run camps all over the southeast and it’s great to see kids from all different backgrounds and skill sets and watching improvement
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
if the trainer can’t physically perform or explain the “why”, then what are you doing? I played the game at the highest levels and don’t teach anything that I personally can’t perform
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
how bad do I really want to play quarterback. This is the hardest position is sports and it’s not for the faint of heart
