Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we will meet to discuss goals. Then we'll have an evaluation process to determine what needs to be the main focus of the training to reach said goals and then we'll sit down and discuss the plan to get us to those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Multiple years coaching football as a head coach, Coordinator and position coach. I've completed different hands-on and online coaching clinics and am currently in the process of finishing by personal trainer certification.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing ranges from $15-25 per session. Sessions are usually between 45-75 minutes long.
How did you get started teaching?
I started to train and coach kids as a way to give back to the youth. Sports changed my life as a young kid and helped me become the person I am today so I feel a special connection to it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with many players ranging from 4 yrs old to 18+ yrs old. I currently coach my sons youth football team and at Sumner High School
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My only advise would be to find someone you can trust and feel comfortable with and around. There's a lot of trainers out there but not everyone is a perfect fit with your specific needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I always tell my clients and players they need to know their "WHY". Everyone needs something to motivate them to be the best version of themselves
