About
-I've helped many players get to the next level through customized trainings and team practices that are fun and challenging. Some are or were ballers on professional teams, national teams, college teams, academy teams, and travel teams. I train all ages of girls and boys, as well as adults, in SW Broward for field or goalkeeping.
-My patience, years of working with kids in sports and in schools, my ability to connect with players, and my performance-specific trainings make my trainings forward-thinking and effective, especially when implemented by coachable, motivated, dedicated, and consistent players with supportive families.
-My experiences having played in the WPSL and in the W-League as well as being part of the evolution of the game as a player, coach, trainer, and a parent help me create effective holistic soccer experiences for each of my players. Whether you want to learn new technique, get stronger, increase speed-of-play, make smarter decisions or simply build confidence, you'll find my trainings create quick results.
-Each person has potential in something, and I am here to help you see, reach, and surpass it. I consider myself a Confidence Specialist. With confidence, passion, and opportunity our reach is unlimited.
-Depending on the arrangement, I also offer customized short coaching videos to correct player form, a goal sheet, training evaluations and game feedback.

There's nothing like the feeling you get when you help someone, especially if they really want to be helped. The gratification of seeing progress and true development in a person you train, coach, guide, and facilitate, whether a GK or a field player, is a joy I wish everyone could feel. Every time I step onto the field it's a new and exciting challenge.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ideally, I speak by phone with the parents and players before they attend a training so we can discuss goals, history, insight, and schedules.
We'll confirm by text or WhatsApp about the location, schedule, equipment, expectations and other arrangements. Finally, for one on one reservations, I'll email a goal sheet to work on and bring for the first training. I also encourage all parents to reach out to me for any questions.

How did you get started teaching?
I knew I wanted to coach since I was about 15 on my travel team in Kendal(Miami). I loved trainings.
Born in Miami with Cuban and Panamanian roots, I grew up in South Florida, playing soccer and running competitively in school and in clubs. When I wasn't with a team, wrestling w my brothers, or studying, I was biking everywhere I could, playing with friends, fishing at a local canal, reading books or sketching.
I played for the City of Sunrise and the Sunrise travel program (where we won the State Championship: my cleats ripped apart in that game, and I had to use duct tape to hold them together). An Israeli family, the Slowicks, ran the Club. I have fond memories playing there. After moving to Miami, I played for K-Land and then FC Miami.
I was a strong athlete(still am), runner, and player in HS and Club and won various awards. Recruited by several college programs (including FIU and Rutgers), I decided on Brevard College in beautiful western NC where I played Soccer and ran CC and Track while studying Wildlife Ecology. I learned how to throw a javelin in track and helped our soccer team get ranked 2nd in the Nation and compete for the National Championship in New Jersey(coldest game I ever played!). I played Defense and Midfield. After 2 years, I transfered to the Univ of West Florida and played on scholarship for it's inaugural Women's Soccer team. I continued playing after college and had my first soccer coaching experience in Puerto Rico when I was 19...loved it...I trained little 4 yr old fonions in a camp...was a natural.😄⚽️❤
What types of students have you worked with?
I have helped kids ages 2-40, from recreational players to college players to students at Career Day in an elementary school to refugees. Most players were and are in the main populations, but I have also woked with a few players in various levels of the Autism Spectrum. I have also trained parent-coaches, guiding them to run more effective trainings as volunteers for their kid's teams.
Most recently, I reached kids in Georgia, Dec 2020-Jan 2021...through soccer, to teach about voting education, laws, and rights.
