Before I continue let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Katherine and today I am proudly a professional fitness coach, I have helped hundreds of men, women, and kids get involved and stay involved in pursuing their personal and fitness goals. But that wasn't always the case!

So what finally changed? I discovered the sport of kickboxing. All the sudden instead of just trying to add miles to my jog or more weight to the dumbbells I was moving around in a way that was dynamic and fun. I wasn't locked into a routine, was working with a coach who was challenging me in just the right ways for me to grow. For the first time a "workout" had engaged my mind AND my body.

That was 13 years ago. In that time I lost 50 pounds, built lean body mass and went on to become a professional athlete and now a professional coach. And you know what? I STILL love my workouts.
