What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them about their experience with sewing, what they would like to learn. I will come up with a teaching plan depending on their ability and comfort level

How did you get started teaching?
Since in I was in the University, used to help my other classmate with their homework, sewing and pattern making. I also teach my granddaughter who is since she was 6 how to sew, now that she is 10 I am starting to teach her pattern making. I also did belong to a community group of older ladies, we make crafts to raffle and I help teaching the ladies that need it help
What types of students have you worked with?
I have work with the very young and older people.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To find someone who is willing to teach everything they know and always ask questions no matter how silly they could be
