About
I help students balance their state of mind, strengthen their body, and connection to their intuition through yoga, meditation, Reiki, and meaningful conversation. Yoga is a great foundation to help us build everything we desire, while incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives.
I love knowing that people feel better after having a session with me. I enjoy helping people feel good, and teaching them how to utilize yogic principles to live their lives. I have been teaching yoga classes and private sessions for four years, and continue to learn more about the practice with every session or class I teach. I came to yoga because of my own injury that prevented me from being able to dance professionally. I love yoga because it provides me with a physical practice in which I can cultivate balance, patience, softness, strength, and self-awareness. Yoga is so much more than exercise; it's a way of life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before your first session, we will have a 5-15 minute call to discuss your desires/goals/and needs. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200hr. Yoga Teacher Training Certification through School Yoga Institute completed in 2018. 15+ years in the entertainment industry, which means lots of experience working with many different types of people!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yoga and / or Reiki: $75/hr. virtual, or $124/hr. in-person.
Spiritual Guidance Session: $124/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I never actually intented to teach yoga. I was a dancer for many years, and still am an actress and musician. Due to a spinal injury, I had to switch to a more theraputic form of movement. I practiced yoga semi-regularly for ten years before getting my certification to teach. I really just wanted a deeper understanding of yoga for my own spiritual practice, but it's become a way of life for me now, and teaching inspires me to stay in the practice. After I completed my teacher training in 2018, a friend of mine asked me to cover a class for her, and the studio asked me to be a full-time teacher. I taught group classes for about a year and a half, and have been teaching privately for the last four years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've mostly taught in group settings, with students ranging in all ages, mostly beginner and intermediate. I also teach private one-on-one classes via FaceTime, or GoogleMeet. I specialize in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative styles of yoga, as well as providing spiritual guidance.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Know your goals and what you want, not only out of the practice, but out of life. Yoga will help you to get to know yourself better, but know that it is not a cure-all for anything. It's meant to be a spiritual practice which can greatly benefit you in your walk through life. Know if you want to practice the asanas mostly, (the physical practice), or if you'd also like to know more about the philosophy of yoga as a way of life. Bring any past and current injuries to my attention. The more I know about your trauma, the better I can guide you through the practice, so that you're really working through your pain, not merely bypassing it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What about yoga is drawing you in, or inspires your curiosity? What are you looking for in your yoga practice? What are you looking to cultivate more of in your life? How do you think yoga can benefit you? How can I as a teacher support you in your practice? What are your goals, if any?
