Larry is a native of Taiwan and also lived in France for 2 years. He is well traveled, has a degree from BYU-Idaho, and proficient in many academic subjects including: math, chemistry, history, geometry, and algebra. He speaks Mandarin, French, and English.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work on materials that the student has from school, and I also use online resources for the student to practice or study as needed.

Online or at my home: $35/hour
At the student's home: $45/hour + $5 for each additional 8 miles.
How did you get started teaching?
I love to teach and work with children, so I decided to start tutoring part time while working other jobs. After Covid, I started tutoring full time.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 5 and up. I've also worked with autistic children.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A phone call is always better than text or messaging when considering to hire a teacher.
