Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Hello future parents and students, I want to thank you for furthering your education with me.
I currently work as a certified Special Education teacher in Georgia. I am a believer that every child can learn. We just have to find the right key to open the door. I keep in mind that everyone learns differently, so I use creative and innovative ways to keep my students engaged in learning.
Covid has put a wrench in our children's learning growth. I keep in mind that some students may have to go back a little to move forward in their academics.
I tutor students from Pre-K ( school readiness) to 5th grade or If the student has an IEP or 504 plan and is working at the elementary school level.
I look forward to our education journey!
My office is located in Norcross.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be prepared to work. Have your assignment and questions ready if you have any.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they know? What they need to learn? How they learn?
