I have over 35 years of sewing and quilting. I have taught sewing and quilting classes at Joann Fabrics and The Viking Sewing machine center. I have an AA in technical Fashion Design and have been a VP at the Gwinnett Quilt guild and a member of the American sewing guild and the American Quilting Guild. I was voted Best of Gwinnett Costume Design for the New London Theater's "Damn Yankees". I have sewn for En Pointe School of Dance and Praise in Motion.
I would love to teach all levels of sewing and I love to teach children and beginners.
I love meeting people and sharing my knowledge of sewing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce them to their sewing machine and teach them how to maintain it. If your machine isn't working, you can't work.
Depending on skill level, the student can choose a pattern and we would walk through it and cut and sew the correct way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Fashion Design and 35 years sewing experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It depends on the skill level and what the student needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I started out at Joann when they were hiring and it took off from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with 5 years old and up. Beginners to experienced.
