Textile & Twine has been my baby for 10+ years. I make and sell my handmade home goods online and in craft shows and farmers markets around metro Atlanta. I also do outsourced production sewing for local businesses and teach sewing classes!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out what you want to gain from your class or classes, any goals you have, how much experience you have, and how much time you are looking to devote to sewing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been sewing since the age of 14, that is over 20 years! I've sewn everything from draperies to wedding gowns, worked with large businesses/brands such as Bush's Baked Beans, T. Marzetti, U.S. Forest Service, and many local businesses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons start at $25/hour for basic introductory sewing lessons/projects. The rate goes up for more advanced projects.
How did you get started teaching?
When someone first asked me to give them a quick little lesson. :) Then, in 2018, I began teaching regularly for Topstitch Atl in Decatur, GA.
