Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session will be an evaluation process check for speed flexibility and power. Also 10-15 minutes talk with parents concerning any health issues such as asthma etc. From there we start creating program that will maximize each session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 plus years of coaching experience, I'm CPT and Sports Enhancement Certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25-30 session
sessions normally last an hour
$10 every additional half hour
How did you get started teaching?
I started training through coach because of the lack of one on one time most coaches have. So what happens is kids get lost in the shuffle and don't have a good sports experience
What types of students have you worked with?
All types but my point of focus is Offensive Linemen, and middle school and younger athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just moved to Georgia a little over a year ago, but every year in my former town I'm performed free youth camps.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that they are not just in it for the money, ask how many clients they currently have but remember a lot of clients doesn't mean they are doing good work they may be just making money. Trainer/Teacher should know that training programs are not a one size fits all deal. Everybody is different, have sessions with 4-5 kids at a time is not always good.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They need to first ask themselves if they are already to make the commitment that its going to require to make sure you get the most out of every session. And have some goal that you can share that you would like to achieve.
