As an individual who completed 2 bachelor’s degrees in two very different fields; psychology and engineering, I have always loved to tutor and teach. I have tutored several math and science classes for over 9+ years, with the opportunity to even teach some of the classes. Tutoring is not just teaching but it’s also a learning process for me. I learn how the student receives information then decide what best approach to teach them. My favorite subjects and math and physics and I’m eager to help people learn about how they can love the math and sciences as well

My greatest passion is seeing my students succeed and grow under my instruction. I strongly feel building a solid foundations and making real-world connections in math leads to continual success. My teaching style encourages students to enjoy learning math while building confidence moving forward. My lessons focus on closing gaps through daily formative evaluations. I enjoy seeing the lightbulb turn on, with that aw ha moment.

First and foremost, I really care about building a good relationship with my students. I offer my first lesson FREE so we can spend some time talking about expectations, goals, and so you can get an idea of what it will be like to work with me. I really want to make sure you are getting the help you need. If you feel you'd be better helped with another tutor, then that's just fine! At ANY time, you can tell me, "Hey, I don't think this private lessons thing is working out."
