Hi, thank you for considering me as your teacher. I've been playing for 40 years and teaching for 25. I love teaching the basics of playing guitar just as much as digging into your favorite songs and figuring out how they do what they do, so I work well with beginners and advanced students. Acoustic singer songwriter stuff is my specialty. My private lesson teaching has been contiuous for over 20 years now. Integrated with the traditional styles is a foundation in music theory, the key to the kingdom for ear playing and composition.

I focus on song writing/guitar playing in a holistic way, so to speak and allow individuals/artists to delve into the more complex areas, such as Music Theory, when they are ready--- We each have our own song deep inside of us and it's a very personal, revealing, and beautiful journey when we embark on a path to self discovery!!
