With the youngest endorsed trumpet artist out there, Chris is ready to teach young excited trumpet players his practice habits and determination to be the best at their craft. Chris is prepared to teach trumpet lessons, in addition to ear training and music theory which ties into all music lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will give you a free trial lesson, if you like and enjoy the lesson then we will continue at a monthly rate for lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently playing second trumpet in the Canyon County Symphony and am a active Phaeton Trumpet Performing Artist. I am also playing trumpet in Riverside Brass, and doing local masterclasses/clinics at different high schools around the Treasure Valley!

How did you get started teaching?
I was aked to teach a trumpet lesson in high school, and ever since I fell in love with it and have been doing it for the past 6 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from 2nd grade up into undergraduate programs.

Realizing that I finally made it by transferring to BSU out of state for free.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for one that you are going to connect with, don't look for one that is the best player. The best player might not be the best teacher!
